Early Riser - Hawaii time is two hours earlier than California, which means that Deshy's schedule was waaaaaay off the whole week and he would wake up, ready for the day at 3 or 4 a.m. despite all of our best efforts. So, being the amazing husband that he is, Ken would pack Desh up in his stroller and head out for a walk to let me sleep. Reflecting back, Ken said that those quiet, early morning walks with the little guy were some of his favorite times of our trip, despite being sleep deprived.
